要我们做到「无父无君」般所谓超脱,这基本上是不可能的。倘若有一天真的做到了,那中华民族也就危在旦夕了。
徒认为人生是苦,人身是「臭皮囊」,无一日不存脱离苦海,登达彼岸之心。而道教偏偏乐生轻死,善于摄固三宝,呼吸育清,追求与天地同其寿,与日月同其明的长生久视与智慧之道。
道教对生命的看重与尊重,对生命科学的深入研究和探索,在徒的眼里,这也是执著之心的体现,没有做到「完全放下」。
诸君:倘若有一天,我等真的什么都放下了,那该是一种什么结局?破身、破产、破家、破国。国破人不在,万象复归空?
从的教理、教义上来讲,是可以讲的,「放下」确实是一种大智慧。但是这种大智慧的前提,是人人都具足佛性,人人都有慈悲之心,。
问题是,倘若当前我们自己「放下屠刀」准备矢志成佛的时候,猛然发现我们的敌人不但没放下屠刀,甚至连航空母舰都开在自己国家的领海边缘耀武扬威不可一世时,我们怎么办?我们的国民怎么办?我们还能够挥一挥衣袖,不带走一片云彩吗?我们还可以笑着位证莲台、同登彼岸吗?
至少,我做不到,我相信任何一位有血性的中国人同样做不到。
在这个时候,我们需要杜绝空洞的大话虚话,脚踏实地地修真悟道,先求自度。自度之后,再传道行道,由「修之于身」,继而「修之于家」「修之于乡」「修之于邦」「修之于天下」。
道传天下,不是「普度」又是什么?
如分「显密」二宗一般,道教亦分两大教派:正一道教与全真道教。
正一道教的前身是「五斗米道」,是张道陵于东汉顺帝年间,在四川鹤鸣山首擎道教之大旗,因张道陵是奉天行道之师,故被尊称为「张天师」。
据陆静修《道门科律》说:「五斗米道置二十四治,三十六靖庐。内外道士二千四百人,下千二百官,章文万通,诛符伐庙,杀鬼生人,荡涤宇宙,明正三五,周天匝地,不得复有淫邪之鬼。罢诸禁心,请约治民,神不饮食,师不受钱。使内修慈孝,外行敬让,佐时理化,助国扶命。」
道教在东汉正式形成教团后,即高标「尊天敬祖」,之后,所修庙堂、设坛场,用意也在「敬神事,教民追孝也。」
尊天敬祖的重要意义在于维护华夏民族的血统、尊严和凝聚所有炎黄子孙的归根心理及热爱祖国的向心力。正一道教驱邪降魔、斩妖破秽,在于维护天地清泰,凝聚正气,提倡正义、让民众一心不乱,归于正道,故祖天师张道陵也被尊为「降魔护道天尊」。
正一道教替天行道,斩妖摄魔,并不是吃饱了没事干,而是真正地「扶持道法救良民」,是度人于无量并落实到行动的具体行为。
但是,斩妖缚邪的正一道士,并不是杀气腾腾,毫无慈悲之心,龙虎山天师府中的「狐仙堂」即可一证。
北宋崇宁年间,第三十代天师虚静公一日正在「三省堂」打坐之际,突然闻巨雷当空,虚靖天师起身仰望天空,觉似有妖魔出现。正在思忖时,忽见一身穿黄女子气喘吁吁地跪倒在前,流泪恳求天师真人相救。
虚靖天师喝问何人?黄衫女子称自己是修行两千年的狐狸精,已修炼两千年,即将修成正果,所以历此大劫。天庭命雷电相劈,奈何此狐狸精已有孕在身,胎儿无辜,所以求天师救命。
听完狐狸精的哭诉,虚靖天师颇有怜悯之意。心想:「天生万物,都有生灵。尽管狐狸精令人厌恶,但她腹中狐婴不能受到株连。如果狐狸精能改恶从善,不也是一件义举吗?」于是,虚靖天师与其约法三章:「第一要持斋,不许残害其它动物;第二要择地隐居,不得骚扰百姓;第三要受戒入道,早晚诵经,改恶从善,为民做好事」。狐狸精当即拱手立誓,决不违犯。
虚靖天师见她有悔改之心,便叫其起立受戒。然后带领几名道徒前往祖天师殿焚香点烛,向天庭发文申奏,奏明赦免狐狸精的原委。不一会儿,天空便恢复晴朗,呈现出一派碧空万里,春意盎然的景象。狐狸精千恩万谢地辞别天师,从此隐居在耳口的云台山中,以山果为食,潜心修道,不久生下一个白白胖胖的小女孩,取名:「小白仙」。
这段动人的故事,终有善终。每当读到此处,不由得感叹万分,狐狸精奉道修行,幸遇道高德深的虚靖天师,倘若她一不小心跑错地方,在金山寺遇到了法海老和尚,那其命运可能又是另外一番结局。
度人者自度,后来的狐仙母女,亦没少帮天师世家的忙。据说四十三代天师羽化之时,曾留下法旨:「百余年来,云台山二狐对吾道贡献良多,已成仙果。天师府内可为其塑金身以祀。」四十四代天师张宇清遵从遗命,便把西客厅辟为「狐仙堂」,并塑了神像。
自古圣贤崇黄老,天下隐士多道家。在历史的推动下,宋元时期道教史上又增加了一些新的教派,其中影响力最大的当属王重阳创立的全真道。其教以「三教圆通」「识心见性」「独全其真」为宗旨,故名「全真」。其修炼主旨是清静无为,去情去欲,修心炼性,养气炼丹,含耻忍辱为内修「真功」,以传道济世度人为外修「真行」,功行两全,证圣成真,谓之「全真」。
许多人认为,全真道教内修内证,追求的是自己成仙证果,丹成飞升,属于典型的小我者自度自私自利的修行法,虽然其法可行,但其境不高。
真的是这样一回事吗?
王重阳祖师全真七子中,当推创立龙门一派的长春真人邱祖处机影响最大。
当年邱祖传道布教,声望与日俱增,以至于成吉思汗遣使相邀。当时的成吉思汗军队,凶悍粗野,杀戮成性,难以理喻。,邱祖为拯救民生,决定不顾个人安危去面见成吉思汗,临行前曾以诗言志:「十年兵火万民愁,千万中无一二留。去年幸逢慈诏下,今春需索冒寒游。不辞岭北三千里,仍念山东二百州。穷极漏诛残喘在,早教身命得消忧。」
时值近八十高龄的邱祖,就这样亲率十八弟子,一路上讲经布道,弘扬玄义,跋涉万里,历尽艰辛,西行劝谏……终于在三年后抵达今阿富汗境内的雪山行军大营。
两人见面后,邱祖抱拳稽首。成吉思汗问以长生之药。
邱祖回答:「我没有长生之药,但有长寿之道,养生当以清心寡欲为要。」
成吉思汗又问以治国之道。邱祖答曰:「欲统一天下者,必在乎不嗜杀人,需敬天爱民为本……」。成吉思汗大悦,并命左右记下,以育后人。并赐邱祖玺书、护符,命其掌管天下道教之事。
邱祖西行的圣迹,被后世史学家誉为「一言止杀」。在丘处机的影响下,「一代天骄」深受感动,终于下令「止杀」,并赦免数万被俘士兵,几十万城池人民避免了家破人亡的惨烈灾祸。
后来,清乾隆皇帝为白云观邱祖白云观题词:「万古长生,不用餐霞求秘诀;一言止杀,始知济世有奇功」,就是对龙门邱祖「自度而普度」一生的高度评价。
与的宏深大愿、无边誓愿相比,道教并没有说过多少惊天动地的「大话」,而是沿袭了太上老子的教诲:「一曰慈,二曰俭,三曰不敢为天下先」,明道若昧,进道若退,见素抱朴,不饰虚华。踏踏实实地将自己修行与利益天下结合起来,同于道、同于德,同于天下,并且大智若愚,为而不争,韬光养晦,让利天下。
